Google Messenger is known as Google Talk. Its connection is through a gmail-account and requires Windows XP or latest version such as Windows Vista or Windows 7 for installation.

With Google talk users can have an unlimited number of utilities that make it one of the messengers used the most in the world.

Google Messenger lets you know when you have received an e-mail in the same way that MSN Messenger. You can customize the chat, it means you can customize if you’re busy, disconnected, away or invisible. You can also configure it sounds to let you know when the contacts are available.

It allows you to rename contacts and gives you the ability to chat using microphone.

You can talk with your contacts using high quality voice-chat. Google messenger has basic sounds when connecting a user and sends you messages. Google Messenger does not use tabs but brings you all the conversations in one program, this way you will not need to have windows opened to know when a contact is typing a message, in that case you will have popups for when you write a sentence and you are not looking.

There is no question that one of the better characteristics of the Google Messenger is that it allows communication between different servers.
